Hi everyone! I’m currently working on a study exploring the genetic architecture of Parkinson’s disease, and I wanted to share a small thought exercise with the community. Looking only at this donut plot showing the distribution of pathogenic variants, which world region would you expect this cohort to come from? These are preliminary, unpublished results, shared just for discussion — please don’t repost. i was gonna go for north africa but it being grouped together with south is making me think 🫠
