# Hello from Italy

Hi all!

I’m Luca, a physics professor from the university of Milano Bicocca. I have extensive experience in imaging neuroscience and nuclear medicine. I’m here mostly to get information and discuss about DAT scans and other imaging procedures!

Members of the [Data Modality and Methodology Task Force](https://rcop.michaeljfox.org/t/data-modality-methodology-task-force-2025/1073) have been working on a DAT-specific project, the [DAT-SPECT subregional SBR processing pipeline](https://rcop.michaeljfox.org/t/dat-spect-subregional-sbr-processing-pipeline-now-available-on-github/1240) (shout out to @AmgadDroby above, who leads this project), available on the [MJFF Research Community GitHub](https://github.com/MJFF-ResearchCommunity). We’d definitely be interested in your feedback if you test this pipeline on your own data!
