Has your impostor syndrome affected your work and/or your professional development? If so, please join us for our next webinar on **Friday, September 11th, 12:30-1:30pm (EDT)**, as [Dr. Ece Bayram](https://rcop.michaeljfox.org/u/ecebayram/summary) (_Assistant Professor of Neurology at CU Anschutz School of Medicine_) and [Dr. Ana Jimena Hernández-Medrano](https://rcop.michaeljfox.org/u/anajimenahdz) (_Clinical Research Specialist at Parkinson’s Foundation_) hold a discussion on how to best manage and overcome this common experience. Impostor syndrome refers to the phenomenon of experiencing self-doubt and a fear of being exposed as a “fraud”, despite external evidence of competence, achievements, and qualifications. Large swathes of the United States workforce (up to 82%\*) report that they have experienced impostor syndrome at least once in their careers, which, if left unaddressed, can often lead to burnout, mental exhaustion, or untapped academic or professional potential. We hope this discussion proves valuable and helpful for you as you progress in your career!
