Hi I am Shaun from Boston. My fav Ninja Turtle is Don. What's your fav NinjaTurtle and/or Dinosaur ? LMK in the comments!

Hi all !

I am a senior graduate student passionate about cures and intervention of Parkinson’s Disease. I am very excited to share this space with you all. I am looking forward to learning new things and contributing in this space. I am also a part of the Genetic Society of America - Early Career Leadership Program.

Apart from research, I like walking around and getting lost everywhere between hiking trails to Costco aisles! I realized optimism can only take me so far before I am lost.
I would love to know more about you and let’s stay connected.

So comment below your favorite ninja turtle :turtle: or your favorite Dinosaur :sauropod: or anything else you would want to share.

Shaun! Love your intro  Shamefully, I didn’t watch ninja turtles as much and don’t know that much about dinosaurs to have a fave… But I do like elephants and Star Wars a lot if that’s an ok enough replacement! I try to include Star Wars memes on my posters (I just create them myself) and talk slides

Hi Shaun, and what a unique introduction haha! I liked it!

So, like Ece, I haven’t watched Ninja Turtles, nor I have a lot of knowledge regarding dinossaurs, but I did like that you enjoy hiking! I think it is a great thing and helps clear the mind and also expose ourselves to beautiful sceneries!

I do wish you find in this community the knowledge / collaboration / anything else you seek. This is a great place to be!

Welcome to the community, @bshaun! Seems like I’m the 3rd in a row that didn’t really watch ninja turtles  Don’t know if it’s my favorite dinosaur, but recently learned of Deinocheirus, which apparently was a giant proto-duck:

Thank you for your warm introduction and for being part of the community – we look forward to working and learning together!

Thanks so much! Glad you like it @ecebayram. Would love to know your favorite elephant and more about your poster making hobby. I recently came across a podcast about the origin and evolution of elephants.

I am glad you liked it @danieltds and thanks for replying. I am loving here in the community.

I love that the weather is warming up here in Boston and soon it will be Hiking season. Can’t agree with you more - hiking is such a fun way to clear the minds and being in the nature indeed helps so much.

Thanks @gginnan . I am so glad to be here and looking forward to learning and working together.

Haha indeed it’s a hatrick on ninja turtles. That is indeed a cool looking Deinocheirus.
