Dear Colleagues,
We invite you to join the Strategic Early Adopter Group for the Bridge Analytics Environment (BAE). Our mission is to accelerate “time-to-insight” for Parkinson’s research by replacing weeks of manual data curation and analysis environment setup with a unified, secure ecosystem that enables self-service visualization and cloud analytics.
The BAE serves as a secure, HIPAA/GDPR-compliant cloud-based data mirror for PPMI data. As we prepare for our June 30, 2026 launch, we are seeking researchers to co-develop the platform and ensure it meets real-world scientific needs. We are recruiting for the following:
-
Discovery Users (Clinical Principal Investigators & Research Leads): For those who need quick, no-code tooling to understand whether a dataset has the right types and quantity of data for their analysis, BAE provides a visual Cohort Builder to replace manual queries and custom code.
-
Analysis Users (Data Scientists & Biostatisticians): For those who require a coding environment, BAE provides an Integrated Cloud Workbench where compute (e.g., Jupyter/R) meets pre-harmonized, immutable data to ensure research results remain 100% reproducible and verifiable for peer review.
Participation Details: To ensure the BAE is built for scientific utility, we are asking for dedicated engagement during our co-development phase:
-
Timeline: First week of April – May 31, 2026.
-
Weekly Commitment: Approximately 45 minutes per week.
-
Collaborative Group Format: Collaborative group sessions led by BAE Team, involving researchers from various labs to facilitate collective brainstorming and shared feedback to ensure the BAE meets a broad range of scientific needs.
-
Session Structure: 10 min Intro, 20 min live testing, and 15 min Q&A/Brainstorming.
-
Target Time: Wednesdays at 8:30 AM PT / 11:30 AM ET / 5:30 PM CET. (Flexible based on final group availability).
Next Steps: If interested, please respond to the email indicated below by March 27, 2026. Once the group is finalized, we will share a participant list and technical onboarding instructions.
We value your time and expertise as we build this foundation for the global scientific community.
Best regards,
Erin Rainaldi
