Member Publications and Conference Presentations - Q4 2024

Hello, DCoP members! I hope your Q4 is off to a good start. As usual, we’re creating a new Topic where you all can share the work you’ve been doing, including papers or pre-prints you’ve written or been involved with, or talks you’ve given. Please use this thread to add links to any relevant articles that you have written recently, or to link to slides and/or recordings of your conference presentations.

We love hearing what you’re working on, and sharing your projects can be a great way to make connections or foster new collaborations. Thanks to everyone who shared on the Q2 2024 Topic – it’s very cool to see the breadth of topics that you’re focusing on.

Really looking forward to seeing your work!

I just finalized my PhD and I am working on the publication of one of the manuscripts. Some interesting findings; almost 10% LRRK2 G2019S in the Chilean population and GBA1 in the Brazilian one.

On the other manuscript, the multiancestry PRS we are on a lot of reviews and corrections. Hope to see it published this year.

Also attending LARGE PD meeting in Perú at the end of the month

We published a study led by our PhD student in October 2024: Glia | Neurobiology Journal | Wiley Online Library

In terms of larger datasets, we have performed bulk RNA sequencing from human microglia derived from iPSCs and treated with alpha-synuclein PFFs and interferon-gamma.
