Whether you’re someone who checks Discourse daily or you only check when you get an email notification, there are several ways you can sift through content once you get here.
Category search: on the homepage of the site, you can browse the different Categories. Clicking on a Category directs you to all the posts in that Category.
Filter by Tag: In the dropdown menu, click “all tags.” This will direct you to a list of Tags used on the site, with the number of posts tagged for each Tag. Select a Tag to view all associated posts.
Filter by post engagement: On the horizontal menu on the homepage, click on “Top” to list Topics in order of highest activity (views and replies). Select the time period you want to view (all time, a particular week, month, etc.).
See Topics that are new: In the same horizontal menu, you can click on “New” to see Topics created in the past two days that you haven’t opened yet. This will only show up if you have unread Topics.
See replies to old Topics: In the horizontal menu, click on “Unread” to see subsequent posts to Topics you have opened and have new replies. The number in a blue circle tells you how many new replies have been posted. This will only show up if you have unread replies.
