Announcement: Forum Scheduled to Become Publicly Viewable

Dear Research Community, we are excited to announce that we will be making this forum publicly viewable on February 28th (ten days from today). This marks an exciting milestone in the development of the Data Community of Practice, and we are grateful for your support in helping us to reach this point.

This new phase of growth will bring new members, enable new collaborations, and lead to the creation of more resources to make conducting PD research easier. It will also mean that the information on the forum will be publicly viewable and indexed on search engines such as Google.

In order to post or contact members, users will still need to register for an account and be approved by a member of the Community Management team, but this new phase will also allow for private, view-only engagement. Direct messages and chats will always remain private.

The Community Management team will be reviewing all posts to ensure no sensitive information is posted to the forum, but please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns, either in-platform or by contacting us: researchcommunity@michaeljfox.org.

Thank you for your ongoing contribution to this community—we owe our success to your expertise and engagement.

Dear Community Members,

I’m writing to inform you all that our forum is now publicly viewable. As mentioned earlier in this thread, account creation/approval will still be required to post or interact with members.

We are excited for this next step in community growth and to bring your knowledge, expertise, and engagement to a broader audience. Thank you to all of the community members who have made this possible, including our current Community Champions (@DCoP_Innovators), former community champions (@johanna.junker and @rooparajan), as well as our colleagues (@lmackenzie, @louwoodley, @lkirsch, @gginnan, @camille.santistevan, @maya.sanghvi) for making this possible!

Please feel free to reach out to @gginnan or I with any questions or concerns!
