APDA Grant Announcement

Hi all, I received the below message from APDA (as I am sure several of you have as well).

If you are in need of a PRO or metabolomic/biomarker expert (or epidemiologist, biostatistician or genetic epidemiologist [I wear a few hats :cowboy_hat_face:]) - ping me :person_raising_hand:

**************

We are pleased to share that the American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA) has extended the deadline for Letters of Intent (LOIs) to February 13, 2026 for our current grant opportunities. Invitations for full applications will be announced in March 2026.

Earlier this cycle, APDA hosted a webinar to support applicants preparing LOIs for the Social Sciences in Parkinson’s Disease Research Grant and the Diversity in Parkinson’s Disease Research Grant. If you were unable to attend or would like to revisit the discussion, the recording is available here:

If you are seeking guidance on how to write LOIs for APDA’s other grant categories, last year’s webinar by Dr. David Standaert is available here:

@fbbriggs not related to this specific call, but any familiarity with cosmos data Farren??? or do you happen to know anyone who has used it? it seems like there’s multiple (pricey) trainings + exams to go through to get the high level data access and i’m trying to find someone who may actually have that level of access as a statistics/informatics expert…
