Do you have insights or experience presenting posters and talks at scientific conferences? We’d love to hear from you!

The Visual Resource Task Force is organizing a panel in late October to support early-career researchers in presenting their work effectively at scientific meetings.

Our panelists will include scientific illustrator and graphic designer Mauricio Guzmán, as well as @ecebayram, who brings extensive experience as both a presenter and a judge.

We’d love to add one more voice to round out the panel—so don’t be shy! If you’d like to nominate someone (or yourself), please respond this post or reach out to me or @vdardov . We’d be happy to share more details.

I did not presented poster on MDS, but Mary (from Data Tecnica) won the best poster award on MDS meeting (I was the second author).

I think that any information about scientific illustration is really useful because sometimes the researchers are too focused on the content that usually forgot the shape.

I will be in this panel 100% because Graphic Design is not my passion
