GP2 has some short courses/training on PD genetics
https://gp2.org/training/
Hi, yes I have
Gp2 training
This are Great, are free, but you have to register
@fbbriggs There is the Genomics Data Analysis XSeries hosted by the Havard Chan School of Public Health and few ones I saw on Coursera
They are a little expensive in my opinion, but the FAES courses are great if you are starting and need more guidance, they provide all, including R studio cloud, most of it is either performed in R or Galaxy. Here’s one: BIOF 521 Bioinformatics for Analysis of Data Generated by Next Generation Sequencing | FAES Academic Programs
MDS has an online training coming up on Dec 1-2, 2025: MDS-PAS Genetics of Movement Disorders
It’s free for MDS members, and $50 for non-members (but also you can become a member for free if you’re a trainee or from an lower income country; as long as you sign up for membership >2 weeks before this webinar, they’ll give the webinar registration for free)
it’s a great opportunity to hear how genetics is used in the clinic for various movement disorders and how new advances are impacting patients’ lives. you also get a certificate of attendance if you needed a “training” requirement to fulfill for work!
