Hi all! It’s so great to hear that many of you are planning to to be at the upcoming AIM GP2 and MDS conferences. Are there any particular talks you’re looking forward to or that you are planning on giving?

@DCoP_Innovators It’s so wonderful to see that many of you were able to meet up at GP2. How did the conferences go? Did you learn anything of particular relevance to the DCoP? Did you meet anyone who would benefit from being a part of the community?
Hello! I went to the MDS congress, which was also my first! I’ve met a lot of people from GP2 also there and I think some featuring some of those people (such as Ignacio Mata and Sara Bandres Ciga) would be really good additions to the DCoP! @psaffie probably can enhance my suggestions. I think that the whole GP2 group and the way it functions could give inspirations to our group.
I agree… They have something that is really inspiring!
I went to my first Hackaton, between Gp2 meeting and MDS conference in Malmö, and was an impresive learning experiencie, both through the leaders of the group, and the mentors.
Hi Maya, this is not regarding the Gp2 conference, but i was thinking after our september meeting, about the best way to contribute as @DCoP_Innovators and thought of an idea I wanted to share, with a previous experience of that thoughts.
As we are an interdisciplinary team, I propose to work in our posts in that way. So, maybe we should stablish an x number of posts that we would like as a community to work on, and then try to develop them with that approach.
For defining the topics, we could make a survey, where each one of us, mentions a number of topics of interst on their area, and then how to do them.
For example
1- Interpretation of genetic results. So for example, we shoud share some de-identified results, and between all, we could perform a guide, on which steps to take for that interpretation.
2. @gdp22 project on genetics in DBS. So, which tools should be used, how the data collection should be made, which are the minimum data to collect, etc…
I don´t kow if I am getting to explain myself, but I think our difference and innovative aproach, is to solve issues together.
I would love to know all the @DCoP_Innovators and our @admins opinion
