Hello!
I’m a postdoc at 23andMe studying the association between PD and the oral and gut microbiomes. I’ve been studying the microbiome for nearly 15 years now, primarily in model organisms such as zebrafish and mice, but I have previous experience in the human microbiome as well.
I’m very excited to hear about everyone’s work here, and please feel free to reach out if you ever want to chat about the microbiome!

Hi Keaton,
Welcome to the Data Community of Practice (DCoP)!
If you happen to have any publications or conference presentations for this quarter, add them here! It’s great to see what members are up to.
Otherwise, looking forward to having your interest/expertise in the gut microbiome in the community! I know @haydehpayami is focused on that area as well.
Welcome Keaton! Sounds like fascinating work! I am “looking” at the microbiome through circulating metabolites - and this is in multiple sclerosis. I am looking forward to your participating in the DCOP! I hope to learn more of your work and interests!

Welcome Keaton! Excited to hear more about your microbiome work. I’ve been working with human transcriptomes with biofluids like saliva, though moreseo with plasma, CSF, and urine, and thought it would be interesting to look more at the microbiome but haven’t had the bandwith.
Excited to have you join.
