Hi there, I'm Maya from CSCCE!

Hello! My name is Maya and I’m a trainer at the Center for Scientific Collaboration and Community Engagement (CSCCE); our work is centered around supporting the human infrastructure that underlies STEM research. I work closely with @louwoodley and @camille.santistevan on a range of projects.

I am increasingly interested in the open science space, supporting sharing and collaboration around data and code, so working with MJFF to help set up this data and research community has been great. I’m excited to see how the DCoP evolves, and would love to hear any thoughts about ways it can be improved.

I grew up in Evanston, IL, but am currently based in Manhattan, NYC. I just graduated from Yale with a B.S. in cognitive science, and actually did some of my undergraduate research in PD at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. Outside of learning about neuroscience, I love to run, hike, travel, brew kombucha, and engage in anything related to Harry Potter.
