MJFF Funding Opportunity: Bridge Funding for Disrupted Neurodegenerative Research Grant Program (BFDN) Powering the Next Generation of Research

Recent changes at the NIH have disrupted critical research in Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and other neurodegenerative disorders. To help ensure these critical projects continue for the millions of families affected by neurodegenerative diseases, The Alzheimer’s Association and The Michael J. Fox Foundation have launched the Bridge Funding for Disrupted Neurodegenerative Research (BFDN) grant program.

The program is designed to support early career investigators for research projects focused on disorders including, Alzheimer’s disease, Frontotemporal Dementia, Parkinson’s disease, Dementia with Lewy Bodies, atypical Parkinson’s, and cover salary and other direct costs for research on neurodegenerative diseases — sustaining progress in research that could transform lives.
