Do you use tools such as the Movement Disorder Society Unified Parkinson’s Disease Rating Scale (MDS-UPDRS) to assess Parkinson’s disease (PD) severity and progression? Have you been wondering how to get the most out of MDS-UPDRS and other MDS rating scales? If so, please join us for an upcoming community webinar on Thursday, May 7th, 11:00am-12:00pm (EDT), as we hear from Dr. Ece Bayram (@ecebayram; University of Colorado) and Dr. Mubasher Qamar (@MubasherQ; King’s College London).
Dr. Bayram and Dr. Qamar currently serve as the chair and vice chair, respectively, of the MDS Clinical Outcome Assessments (COA) Training and Education Committee, affording them valuable insight on how to best use MDS scales, how to implement them in study designs, and how to interpret the data. Dr. Bayram and Dr. Qamar will also provide a general overview as to what goes into the development of these scales, as well as which trainings are available.
If you are interested in attending, please reply to this post and we will add you to the calendar invite.
