Hi @gginnan, thanks for the recording. I finished watching it and it’s very informative. [I missed the webinar due to connectivity issues].
I wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank you Dr. Deborah Hall for presenting the recent webinar on networking. Your insights into using Political skills to build effective interpersonal relationships within the organization and leveraging Emotional intelligence to expand one’s network were incredibly valuable and actionable.
As a graduate student pursuing an MS in Analytics and preparing for a healthcare career, I found your advice particularly relevant, especially the emphasis on the importance of follow-up and maintaining connections over time and the difference between Mentor and Sponsor. I’m excited to see how these strategies will enhance my networking efforts.
To others in the community, I highly recommend checking out this webinar if you’re looking to improve your networking skills. The session covered practical strategies in a fun way, which I believe would be valuable for anyone in our field. If you missed the live session, the recording is available. Worth a watch!
Your expertise and engaging presentation style made the session both informative and inspiring, @Dr. Deborah Hall. Thank you again for generously sharing your knowledge with the community. I look forward to any future sessions you may host and hope to stay connected as I continue to develop my networking skills.
Hello @gginnan, I just watched the recorded webinar, very insightful.
I am part of this community as a result of networking. I realized how my current supervisor has connected me to other people through introduction. I am quite saddened by the countless opportunities to network I didn’t take advantage of. I know better and hope to do better. Thank you, Dr. Deborah Hall for the wonderful presentation.
