2024 PD-related Conferences

@DCoP_Innovators who plans to attend AD/PD in March 2024? Or the International Association of Parkinsonism and Related Disorders (IAPRD) in May 2024? I ask for a couple of reasons:

  1. It might be an opportunity for the DCI community to convene in person and hold an extended brainstorming session.

  2. I also wonder if we will be at a place where we want to start advertising this platform and inviting people in for feedback and trial runs. As I have been using this platform, I am starting to get a great feel of how this would be helpful when requesting, accessing, using large data sets. I think it is going to have great value to the PD research community and getting the word out and showing it is user friendly will be important to its success.

For the May 2024 conference, I think it will be close to a year of us using this platform and seems like the right timing to advertise it. Although, I am not entirely sure what this would look like, e.g., symposium, booth or table?

Have others thought about this? What do you think?

@malosco I am thinking about the IAPRD conference. Not fully decided on going
But so agree it’s an excellent platform
We could even present a paper together as a group or reach out to Organizers on a time slot

I will send an abstract to IAPRD and it all depends on if I get accepted + travel grant! But if I am able to go I would be happy to both meet and advertise the community.
