Experience with discourse iOS app?

Has anyone else tried using the mobile app on an iPhone? Seems to be okay, but a little strange with the text resizing for the banner?

Not directly related to your question, but I believe it is useful to include this information here. I tested the Discourse app on a Samsung phone, and it is not a standalone app. Instead, it simply redirects your web browser to the Discourse link of MIJFF, where you can use it. So, on Samsung, it functions solely as a redirect tool. I am uncertain if it has the capability to identify and notify you, which was the primary reason I suggested evaluating the possibility of using the app.

Correction: it seems there is an app called “Data” in Play Store to use Discourse

Interesting – did the app work okay? iOS one seems largely functional except I haven’t figured out how to set “quiet hours” for notifications like I’ve done with Outlook/Teams

Notifications are pretty handy and images can be uploaded from phone pretty easy!

Yeah! It is working. However, I do not receive notifications. Nonetheless, the app works smoothly and it is very easy to use in mobile, which is good.

I do not remember how I got the app, but I think it is important to notice I did not find it direcetly in Play Store. I think I downloaded Discourse app and, through that app (which just mirrors my web browser), I clicked a link that installed this app called “Data”, which is working adequately (aside from notifications - but maybe that is just something I can do in configurations).

Strange… is this the same app? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.discourse&hl=en_GB&gl=US&pli=1 (can’t test myself since I am all iOS or Windows…)
