Hi everyone! I am Dana Lewis, an Associate Program Officer with Coalition for Aligning Science. I am a neurophysiologist by training and now work primarily on the Aligning Science Across Parkinson’s project. At CAS, we are passionate about open science and are working to increase availability, accessibility, and reusability of data. I am excited to be here and learn more about data curation and documentation best practices in the PD field!
Hi Dana, it’s great to have you here! Please feel free to share info on any projects you’re working on and stay tuned for new community task forces in the coming weeks. Welcome!
Hi Dana! Welcome to the community! You might be interested in our upcoming Data Modality & Methodology Task Force. We would love to have your input. There should be a post about it fairly soon.
Hi Dena, welcome aboard! I cannot agree with you more on the importance of proper documentation. I’ve encountered not a few instances where potentially valuable data was unusable due to insufficient information on how it was collected or generated.
Additionally, I support @ehutchins’ comment—we are looking to develop a template for starting analysis projects, and your input would be incredibly valuable.
Welcome Dana
Data accessibility and its challenges especially in the underrepresented populations is of interest to me
We welcome your expertise here and hope to learn a lot from you
