Hello, I’m Cathy and I’m a junior Biostatistician at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and originally from Canada. Our lab focuses on genetic and epidemiological determinants of Parkinson’s Disease, particularly in the AJ population. I’m currently working with several PD datasets, and would love to learn from others in the DCoP about data harmonization and longitudinal and latent class analyses. Happy to be here!

Hi, Cathy! What datasets are you working on in particular?
I know @jodiefm, @gdp22 , and others have discussed studying progression with regard to PPMI data: Using PPMI to study long term PD progression - #6 by jodiefm.
And @ehutchins has done pretty extensive work on harmonizing data in AMP PD (maybe @vdardov too?) Accessing Data: LONI vs AMP PD.
Good to have you here!

Hi Josh and thanks for the warm welcome! Besides PPMI, I’m also gathering clinical data from PDBP and LCC. I’m aware that AMP-PD has harmonized these cohorts already, and it has been a helpful resource so far, but it seems to be a restricted cohort compared to what is available in LONI and the PDBP DMR.
