I am very happy to joint this vibrant community, my name is Yasser Mecheri, I am a Neurologist working in Dr Benbadis University Hospital in Constantine, Algeria. I hold a Master’s Degree in Genetics and I will be enrolling soon as a GP2 funded PhD student in Mongi Ben Hmida institute of Neurology in Tunisia with a project focusing on unraveling the genetic characteristics of PD in the North African population.
I am a member of GP2 trainees’ network, the MDS young members steering committee and the MDS-AS education committee.
I am interested in the genetics of Movement disorders and Parkinson’s disease with a focus on the study of rare monogenic cases. I am looking forward to work with you all and to learn from your experience.
