Introductory presentation

Hi everyone!!!
I am a movement disorder neurologist based in Santiago, Chile. I work in [https://cetram.org/] and in a private clinic.
I am currently pursuing phD in medical science in UFRGS, Porto Alegre, Brasil (same University as @danieltds) , granted by The Michael J. Fox Foundation through a GP2 (Global Parkinson´s Disease Genetics Program) project.
My main project is a clinical-genetic characterization of monogenic PD in Chile-South Brasil through the LARGE PD consortium.
I am currently the GP2 training representative for Latin America with @paularp and collaborating in other GP2
projects: Multi ancestry PRS in PD, PD progression, return results to patients WG
I am also involved in International multi-institution collaboration in genetics of ataxia

I love sports, as soccer, cycling and volleyball.

My hopes for the DCop are:

  • Create a ´Friendly Community’:

  • Productive research network to enhance the effectiveness and utilization of existing resources (easier, accessible, time-efficient)

  • Build strong foundations to effectively bridge the gap between data science and researchers.

  • Focus on enhancing coordination and data-driven decision-making: organizing Task Leaders by Expertise and Region
