I’ve read with great interest a recent paper authored by Prof. Andrew Sideworf (link) that evaluated a novel biomarker to identyfing PD, specially within some subtypes. Is this data already available to use in the PPMI cohort? If so, how to obtain that?
Do you have LONI access? I believe it is in the Biospecimen Analysis Results table from the LONI PPMI page.

I recently checked the SSA results in the PPMI LONI. The results are in
“Current_Biospecimen_Analysis_Results_xxxxx2023.csv” file, I noticed that there are four projects that provide SSA results, as outlined below:
PROJECTID-155: n_unique_id=806, n_unique_id_visit=873
PROJECTID-173: n_unique_id=80, n_unique_id_visit=140
PROJECTID-207: n_unique_id=164, n_unique_id_visit=245
PROJECTID-237: n_unique_id=365, n_unique_id_visit=365
The sample overlap between these four projects are as shown below.
I heard that new SSA data are coming soon and the investigators are preparing for a consensus result table but, for the time-being, PROJECTID 155 and 237 are the ones to check.
Tips: According to the method documents, there are replications (Rep1) (Rep2), etc but they are identical within so just look at (Rep1) would be enough.
Perfect answer. Thank you a lot for the information with this data visualization!
How should you get LONI access? Is there a project you have to present to gain access?
There’s an overview page here. You can use this link to apply for access after you sign the data use agreement. It’s been a little while since I applied, but if I remember correctly they want to verify that you’re at a research institution and you submit a brief overview of why you want access/how you intend to use the data, in addition to signing the DUA and agreeing with the publication policy.
