How can I get access to the SAA status of the subjectives in Prodromal or HC cohort?

HI there! I need the SAA status of the subjectives in Prodromal or HC cohort for some research on biomarkers with PD, but I couldn’t find it on PPMI, could someone told me how to apply for it?

Thanks for the ping, @ecebayram !

@blin, have you had a chance to see the SAA overview video that @jodiefm put together? There is a thread on it here: SAA data in PPMI - data overview video .

My understanding is that it largely covers what is in the PPMI Data User Guide section on SAA (begins on page 32).

There are also additional PPMI-related guidance documents which live here in case they are useful: https://www.ppmi-info.org/access-data-specimens/guidance-resources.

Let me know if the video/user guide aren’t able to clarify and we can investigate further!

Also to ask: do you currently have access to the PPMI data itself? I was able to query IDA with a keyword search for ‘SAA’ and saw the ‘SAA_Biospecimen_Analysis_Results’ table within ‘Biospecimen’ which includes cohort, SAAMethod, SAA_Status, and SAA_Type which should help (more info in the data dictionary on these, which can be found at the guidance resources link above).

Let us know!

@blin Apologies I did not see this earlier. The data you are looking for (SAA on prodromal and HC cohorts) is actually sequestered and requires you to make a Tier 3 sequestered data access request. You can find the full instructions to do so here! https://www.ppmi-info.org/sites/default/files/docs/PPMI%20Data%20Access%20Guidelines.pdf
