Hiiiiiiii everyone,
As we’re wrapping up the year, we wanted to share what we’ve been doing this year as the Networking and Outreach group. Me & @Vidash are the co-leads for this term and this group was an excuse for me to meet her and all the other awesome group members, so first and foremost, I’m thankful for that selfishly. I’m not gonna bombard you with yet another introduction ( What are you currently working on? Let us all know! - #2 by ecebayram ) but I wanted to start the thread to share about what’s been happening in our group.
We’ve been trying to bring in the in-person networking adventures by meeting up at conferences:
We recently had our small gathering at the MDS conference thanks to @hirotaka & @Vidash and we would love to hear about the conferences you think might be worthwhile to pull some in person catch up!
The brainchild of the lovely @Vidash we’re planning to start the Knowing Me, Knowing You effort in 2026. If you want to find out and check it out:
