Hi, has anyone had experience requesting samples from PPMI? If so, any insights about the experience and timeline for receiving the physical samples would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

While I’ve not applied for them myself, all PPMI biospecimen applications are reviewed by the Biospecimen Review Committee (BRC), which meets three times per year to discuss requests. Applications for the next review cycle are due on August 3rd. The BRC meets in October, and we will share decisions by early November. If the request is approved, there would be some additional administrative requirements ($0 grant, materials transfer agreement, some other paperwork). Let me know if you have more questions – if I can’t answer them I can put you in touch with someone else at MJFF!
