Round Up and Next Steps: Visual Resource Generation Task Force

Hi Community Members!

After completing our Visual Resource Generation task force meeting, we are excited to share some updates and next steps!

For the first resource, we will be working to compile a list of existing visual resources that are releated to PD data and analysis. If you have a resource that you love, please add it in the comments below so we can include it!

After this first resource, be on the lookout for posts for upcoming visual resources. We will be hosting webinars that will be recorded for your replay and watching at a later date.

We also want to hear from you! What visual resources are you interested in? Are there specific topics you are interested in that we can create visual resources for?

Big thank you to the task force team (@paularp @psaffie @ekaamewu @vcatterson) and the MJFF Team (@gginnan @jgottesman).

Hi Victoria, nice hearing about this updates. I really like MDS gene https://www.mdsgene.org/. It helps you when you are looking to get a broad idea of PD genes (and others)

Yo begin logging in, and looing by phenotype. From the list of displayed genes, I choose Parkinsonism to show an example:

To continue with the example, I choose LRRK2 . For each selected gene, you can visualize:

a) Summarry statustucs of the Phenotype

b) Summary of in vitro effect of mutations on LRRK2 kinase pathway activity

c) World Map distribution

Hope this is useful for the @DCoP_Innovators !!!
