Hello everyone, I am Divyani Garg from New Delhi, India

Hi everyone! I am Divyani, a movement disorders neurologist affiliated with AIIMS, New Delhi, working as Assistant Professor. I am interested in metal transport disorders (iron, manganese, copper), rare movement disorders and electrophysiology of movement disorders. My focus is clinical research, genotypic correlates, and electrophysiology. Happy to connect with you all, and looking forward to collaborative research on these themes! As I work in a mostly resource-constrained setting, I would appreciate tips on how to navigate challenges specific to this from others who work in similar settings, from time to time. Best wishes!

Hi @Divyani welcome to this community. Enjoy the wealth of knowledge this group brings and also share with some of your amazing work.
I live and work in Ghana so I really understand the challenges of navigating the research landscape and even to work in practice
As a clinician and a researcher who also manages the only Foundation for Parkinson’s Patients here, I get to work with patients support group , policy makers and other research groups so this gives a broader view of the challenges of the system we live in.
Happy to help with any specific issues,we can share notes on how to use opportunities maximally.
I congratulate your journey thus far because I know it takes a lot out of you if the systems you work in are not built to help make most use of what you can do for them
