Looking for CSF glucocerebrosidase activity in PPMI

Hi all,

I am interesting in learning if CSF glucocerebrosidase activity is in the PPMI dataset at any timepoint. Any guidance would be appreciated. I have found this in AMP-PD from Clemens Scherzers dataset, but it is in a very limited number of participants. Any guidance would be appreciated! Thanks!

Hi,

Regarding CSF samples specifically, I think you have already identified the only dataset.

However, there are some results using blood tests, from project 132 (“GBA-Related Biomarkers in Parkinson’s disease Analysis of β-Glucocerebrosidase Activity”). You can find the data in the Current Biospecimen Analysis Results file and there is a corresponding Methods document in the Biospecimen Analysis Methods folder. It looks like there were of the order of 500 participants in this study, with samples taken over 3 or 4 visits.

Similarly, project 135 looked at plasma samples for GBA activity.
