Dear Research Community,
Do you work with PPMI data or investigate biomarkers in Parkinson’s disease? If so, we hope you’ll join us on Wednesday, June 25th, 11:00am – 12:00pm (EDT) for our next community webinar! We’ll hear from Dr. Tristan Glatard (@glatard), Scientific Director of the Krembil Centre for Neuroinformatics, as he discusses his project LivingPark-utils.
Developed by Dr. Glatard’s team and supported by the Michael J. Fox Foundation, LivingPark-utils (a collection of functions within the broader LivingPark project) enables users to directly pull PPMI data and conduct novel or replicative analyses within Jupyter notebooks. In addition to providing publicly available code and methodologies to support transparency and reproducibility in PD research, Dr. Glatard’s project aims to improve the generalizability and robustness of MRI-based biomarkers, resulting in more reliable techniques to characterize and predict Parkinson’s disease.
If you are interested in attending, please reply to this post and we will add you to the calendar invite. If you have other colleagues who are not currently members of this community, please feel free to forward them this post or send their contact information to us (researchcommunity@michaeljfox.org).
